In this episode John talks with Beckie Kravetz. Beckie came to Cummington with her husband Alan Weisman in 2007. Other than her college years, the west – Arizona and California – had mainly been her home. While a student at Yale Drama School she found her way into mask/wig making and make-up artistry, and never looked back… eventually working for over two decades as wigmaster/make-up artist with the Los Angeles Opera. Now a renowned sculptor in her own right she is rooted here and wholeheartedly carries forward the creative legacy of the old Cummington School of the Arts from her home on Potash Hill.
